"The burglars wanted my cell phone; I could not give it because my DXN prospects were stored in the SIM card that's in the unit. Myra Naga was saved, including her contacts that eventually became her downlines. But her story neither starts nor ends here.

Life on the breadline For three years, Myra had been dreaming of growing her measly P5,000 salary as a saleslady into threefold. She had to be frugal, even if her remuneration was uninviting for being pennywise. Mission Not Impossible

Compared to the archetypal rags-to-riches stories, Jay Valeriano has his different anecdotes to share associated with his family and the DXN business, that is. No doubt that he was gifted with a towering six-feet height to swoon every female species around and an athletic built to brag.

But none of these physical attributes caused Jay to flaunt and show off that he really got what it takes to impress every people he knows. “I never really think of that. In fact, I’m the shy type of person. I also believe that there is more than the physical characteristics to be proud of,” Jay started off in an interview.
Jay came from a struggling family in Quezon City, being the eldest in a brood of three. His parents, who are both regular government employees in Manila, need to work hard for their family to survive.
He graduated with Bachelor of Management degree during the late ‘90s in one of the known educational institutions located along the crowded university belt in Manila. Barely few weeks after he graduated from college, Jay wasted no time to employ into a number of private conglomerates and hopped from one odd job to another – from being a credit card sales representative for four years to a freelance agent of government’s regulatory board for film and television for nearly six years where his main task is to simply monitor the piracy and other unlawful activities inside the movie houses. This is also what he thinks the noble way to help his family to earn a living.
Eventhough he was a bachelor then, any of these jobs neither provides him a good earning for his family nor enjoys personal perks for him. “Kulang pa nga ang suweldo ko pang-date ng chick,” Jay quips. He refers to his measly minimum wage of P5,000 a month, which was not even enough to invite a girl for a dinner date, while the large part of it would be automatically allotted to basic commodities and utilities such as water and electricity bills.
This prompted him to enter into what he thinks “a good business venture” that would fulfill his aspirations in life. With the emergence of different networking and pyramiding firms between 1998 and 2000, Jay decided to engage in pyramiding business where he invested $300 (or equivalent to P15,000 at that time) and maintained 18 website accounts to his credit as part of the binary scheme. Since he was fully convinced with such scheme promoted by the company where he could easily get the return of his investment in a short span of time, he immediately borrowed the amount from his close friends and relatives for his registration fee.
Later he realized and found out that the pyramiding business is a bogus. With huge amount of money put to waste, he felt that all his efforts and his main goal to thrive in life became futile. “Parang bumagsak ang mundo ko! Kailangan kong makabangon at makapag-ipon ulet para makabawi,” he revealed. This is the main reason why Jay became very cynical with the succeeding offers from colleagues including the DXN business, which he has been constantly receiving after such traumatic incident. Jay returned to seeking employment in various firms and re-focus on the monotonous office admin and paperwork.
During the early years of DXN in the Philippines, Atty. Ric Gatdula (currently a Triple Diamond) introduced the multi-level marketing or MLM business to Jay. With the aftermath of fake pyramiding dispute, Jay remained skeptic. “Dahil sa pangungulit ni Atty. Ric, halos inaaraw-araw na ako, I decided to give the networking business a second try in July 2001,” Jay recalls. “There’s no harm in trying,” he adds.
“It took me almost two years to sign and register under the group of Atty. Gatdula. At first, I must admit na hindi pa talaga ako kumbinsido kasi fresh pa sa akin yung nangyari sa pyramiding,” Jay averred.

Little by little he did the networking the DXN way. Painstakingly, he studied the DXN marketing plan by attending the business opportunity meetings (BOMs) and understanding the marketing plan (UMP) at the head office.

However, like the rest of the distributors who experienced various rejections and cynicism from prospects toward doing the DXN networking business, Jay is no exemption. Because of this frustration, it even reached to a point that Jay did not concentrate well to develop his group and caused him to become inactive for a time. But Jay took this incident a mere challenge.
Until he met Executive Triple Diamond Dennis Villarosa. With the inspiring story of ETD Villarosa, Jay began to take the DXN business more seriously. The opportunity of three-days company-organized Training Camp in Tagaytay City came in 2002. The registration fee of P4,000 in a form of bonus deduction made Jay hesitant to join at first but with the encouragement from Atty. Gatdula and ETD Villarosa, Jay finally yielded to participate in the activity.
With the successful turnout of the training activity, Jay completely learned the uniqueness of DXN business. “I was lucky that I did not change my mind and attend the training. It was a whole new experience for me,” Jay said.
With perseverance and proper guidance of my upline Atty. Gatdula, Swiftly, Jay was promoted months after months – from Star Agent to Star Pearl to Star Ruby. It was in 2003 when he received his Star Diamond pin. In the same year, he had the first taste of Travel Seminar Incentive (TSI then) enlisting him as one of the Hong Kong qualifiers. Jay also recalled that the night before the Hong Kong trip with a great deal of excitement having the first-time to travel abroad, he had a dream of driving a brand new Crosswind luxury car.
Apparently, the dream of acquiring brand-new Crosswind came into reality few months after he was promoted as Senior Star Diamond in 2005 and started to earn P50,000 on the subsequent bonus months.
At the age of 35, Jay decided to marry Eileen, his charming girlfriend for three years, via the cherished church wedding. “Although I married quite late, I know that my family – and my future family – are secured enough and assured to be vivid and clear. That is all because of DXN,” Jay stressed. In 2005, Jay promoted as Double Diamond and few months later he became Triple Diamond. Even before the launching of Simplified and Integrated Marketing Plan or SIMP that same year, he was promoted already as Gold Diamond with his bonus that continuously mounts up to a range between P100,000 and P170,000 a month.
Recently, Jay acquired another brand new car – Kia Carrens 2008 model – and a house and lot in Tagaytay City. He has also several future plans of investing his money that certainly will not put into waste.
Most of networkers have their own strategic ways to gather new recruits. One effective way according to Jay, however, is to send and bring more prospects to DXN Philippines’ head office in Ortigas to get acquainted with the networking business. “In this way, we can easily introduce the DXN business, promote the products and explain the veracity of marketing plan to them with the help of our good trainors and speakers,” Jay narrated.
More importantly, Jay guided his every prospect and existing group the way his upline taught him to develop their keen interest in doing the business and eventually become one of the industry’s precious gems.
Jay, who deserved to be a part of the roster of Diamonds, is currently working to develop more Diamonds under his leg and attain his ultimate dream of becoming one of the Crown Diamonds in the near future.

It was in 2000 while in Bahrain working as cook when Loreta “Lita” Jamito, 47, felt something wrong with her stomach. Her eyes turned yellow and her skin turned itchy.
At first they suspected hepatitis, but later tests proved she was facing a more serious disease.
By November 2001, after having checked up, she was advised to undergo operation. It was found out that there is a mass growth in the pancreas that caused excretion of waste inside her body.
With her husband on AWOL status and their savings running out, they were on a struggle to fund her treatment.
The mass continued to grow and soon it was causing problems that she can’t bear.
Later on it was found out that the mass was cancerous and an immediate removal was necessary.
“Talagang kinukulit ko yung doctor, baka naman merong gamot na makakatunaw sa bukol ko?” she narrated, bugging her doctor with the question “Gagaling ba talaga ako kung maooperahan ang bukol ko?”
To her disappointment, the doctor said that there is no medicine or any other way but operation to remove her cyst.

Lita’s Doctor asked her to prepare P50,000 to cover operation expenses should she decide to undergo one. Deep in despair, knowing not where to find the money and with the uncertainty of whether the operation will do her good in the long run, she decided to delay, with a strong faith that she would find something that will help her ease her condition.
When Hilda Magno, Lita’s friend and a DXN distributor learned about her ordeal, she came along to introduce DXN, “Ate nabalitaan ko may cancer ka, i-try mo itong DXN.”
Lita right away got interested particularly after she read DXN’s About Reishi, where she discovered that Ganoderma is a potent mushroom that cleanses and strengthens the body particularly the pancreas.
Desperate to be healthy again, she did not follow the “1-2-4-6” formula but instead took one pair on the first day, two pairs on the second, three on the third until she reached five pairs on the fifth day, which she maintained.

Lita is very grateful to the Lord for giving her DXN. And the best thing, aside from her recovery, is her constantly growing network, which started from all her mates in the hospital ward including two nurses.
Lita is now on her way to become a Star Ruby. Wih her personal brush with death as a strong proof, it won’t be long before she reach the coveted Star Diamond Status.

She has exuded that energetic aura for so long. Her family members have also been used to her appetite-full eating spree during meal time. That's why it came as a big surprise to Naty's kins when she became the reverse of her lively self.

Regular check-up results would accompany her homeward; feeling rather frustrated for her creatinine levels that won’t subside. Mae Yap, 56, is a survivor of her own fate. Since birth she had bronchial asthma that bothered her for a while. In 2000, upon her doctor’s recommendation, Ms. Yap decided to undergo medical workup because of her swollen womb. The result was Uterine Myoma, but “fortunately it was negative of cancer,” she says.

But in 2003, she noticed that the swelling came back again. This proved to be a serious case when “a piece of skin tissue was sloughed off from my breast,” Ms. Yap recalls. She consulted a specialist at the Philippine General Hospital. But this time the results were grim: She is suffering from Stage III Breast Cancer.
This is no ordinary story. Hearing the terrible news of her fate, Ms. Yap should be sulking, but she chose not to. She went on to get an operation in Singapore General Hospital. She was advised to undergo chemotherapy and radiation to fully recover.
